More than 350 trains from S-Bahn (city trains) to ICE (intercity express trains) stop every day at Düsseldorf Flughafen (Airport) railway station, which is located on the eastern side of the airport grounds. SkyTrain, a fully automated cabin railway, takes you directly to the terminal from the station building. Only the S-Bahn S11 stops at the Düsseldorf Airport terminus in the basement of the terminal building. The S11 runs from Bergisch Gladbach via Düsseldorf Central Station to the airport.
